About

Darby Friends Meeting was organized in 1682 and meetings were originally held in the home of Darby founder John Blunston. The current meeting house (the third) located at 1017 Main Street was built in 1805 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Darby Friends original Schoolhouse (c. 1752) is on the same campus, at 1019 Main Street. Also under the care of the Meeting is the historic Darby Friends Burial Ground, 2 blocks to the north, at 1205 Main St.
